How do you change the world? One heartbeat at a time.
He has been called a MOTIVATOR, a RUMINATOR, and an EVANGELIST FOR CHANGE. But most would just call him DIFFERENT. Know what I mean?
Noal Cochran uses a blend of Southern wit and wisdom to paint a canvas that provokes participants to see their world as it really is and move toward sustainable changes that benefit them and those around them. He knows what it is to be in the trenches of LEADERSHIP and LIFE. Whether sharing a journey with a new leader in the quiet of an office through one-on-one coaching or rolling up his sleeves and going to work at state and national conferences, conducting keynotes or facilitating workgroups across a wide range of organizations. He is open, honest, and direct. Noal speaks his truth and shows who is, warts and all, to those he works with.
Dr. Cochran has over 30 years of experience in the fields of industry, education, and mental health. He currently serves as the Associate Dean for Educator Preparation and Accreditation at the University of Southern Mississippi, but Noal is certainly not a one-trick pony. In addition to his current role, Dr. Cochran has served various school districts as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and superintendent. He is also a former marriage and family therapist with extensive mental health experience in family therapy, crisis management, secondary trauma in professionals, addiction counseling, and identity formation in teens. Regardless of where the path has taken him, Noal has dedicated himself to changing the lives of those he serves as a leader, speaker, facilitator, therapist, coach, or consultant.
Noal and his wife, Laura, are the proud parents of one daughter, Valorie, a student at Ole Miss Law.
